Welcome to Neadon in the heart of Dartmoor

Neadon is a beautiful 50 acre moorland farm on Dartmoor and is set in a peaceful valley surrounded by breathtaking scenery.


Neadon offers a unique and informal setting for wedding receptions and wedding blessings. Wedding parties have exclusive use of the whole property. The impressive 17th Century wedding barn at Neadon lit with candles, fairy lights and a blazing wood burner and decorated with greenery and flowers creates a truly magical atmosphere.

The garden with its elegant sculptures and beautiful views affords a stunning backdrop to your wedding photographs. Self catering accommodation at Neadon Cottage is included.

Neadon Cottage (sleeps 8)

Neadon Cottage is a wing of the listed 17th Century farmhouse and offers spacious, comfortable self catering holiday accommodation with superb views over meadows and moorland. The holiday cottage has 4 bedrooms and there is ample off road parking at the rear of the cottage.

When wedding receptions are hosted at Neadon, the wedding party is given exclusive use of Neadon with the Wedding Barn and Neadon Cottage being let together.

Dartmoor on your doorstep

Guests can enjoy stunning views from Neadon cottage and gardens and there are lovely walks right from the cottage on to farmland, woodland and Dartmoor.Hound Tor, Bowerman's Nose and Haytor are all within easy reach as are the picturesque moorland villages of Manaton, Lustleigh and Widecombe-in-the-Moor.

Dog friendly

Dogs are welcome and there are lots of beautiful walks through meadows, woodland and moorland for you and your dog to enjoy.

A warm welcome all year round

The holiday cottage is available all year round so you can also enjoy a relaxing, cosy break in the winter months or in the spring when Neadon isalive with bluebells and lambs. Guests are greeted with a tray of cake and tea.
